Artist's Description
This is just one of many coves in Laguna Beach, CA. The access to this beach is aptly named "A Thousand Steps" since it is a very long, straight staircase beneath arching tree branches. It can be strenuous, but well worth it.
About Bill Hudson
Bill Hudson comes from a family of watermen who worked the Chesapeake and Chincoteague Bays in Virginia. His inherited love of the sea is evident in his watercolors. Having an aptitude for art as well as science and mathematics, Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He then pursued a 38-year career in aerospace while painting with oils and watercolors as a hobby. His proudest moments came, however, when he married his wife Ellie and they were blessed with eight children.
